So you have created a brand!

the only thing missing is some quality photos for your website and social media. I have created a guide to help you plan and execute your first apparel photoshoot.

Define your concept and target audience:

Before you start planning, it’s important to have a clear understanding of what you want to achieve with the photoshoot and who your target audience is. This will help you determine the look and feel you want to convey through the images.

Choose A location:

The location is a crucial aspect of the photoshoot. Consider the ambiance you want to create and choose a location that complements the clothing you want to showcase. If you’re looking to create an urban, edgy look, you might consider an urban location, such as a street or alleyway.

Hire A photographer:

Find a photographer who understands your vision and has experience with clothing apparel photoshoots. Ask for examples of their work to ensure their style aligns with what you want to achieve.

Select Models:

Choose models who fit the clothing well and represent your target audience. You can also consider using real people or influencers instead of professional models to give your photos a more authentic feel.

make a shot list:

Make a shot list of all the shots you want to capture during the photoshoot and arrange them in a logical order. This will help you stay organized and ensure you get all the shots you need.

Edit your photos:

After the photoshoot, work with your photographer to edit the photos to make sure they look their best. Discuss with your photographer about the style of editing your after. If it is an edgy street wear brand consider a moody edit rather than a bright airy edit which may be better suited to a swimwear brand.

Share your photoshoot:

Now you have received your photos its time to share them with your target audience through your website, social media, or other marketing channels.
