FAQ
Turn Around Times?
Our standard turnaround time is 48 business hours. While we aim to deliver most jobs within 24 hours at no extra charge, this expedited service requires advance notice so we can prioritize your project accordingly. During busy periods or staff shortages, we may need the full 48 hours. Please note that these timeframes apply to business days only (e.g., a Friday job would be returned Monday if urgent, or Tuesday if standard).
Should I prepare the property in advance?
To achieve the best photography results, we recommend preparing your space by removing clutter wherever possible. Clearing kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, and shower areas of personal items creates cleaner, more appealing images. Similarly, removing pet supplies (bowls, litter trays) and outdoor items (garden hoses, tools, pool equipment) from view significantly enhances the final photographs.
Our standard post-processing includes image brightening, window view enhancement, and removal of minor unwanted elements. However, while we can digitally remove items during editing, it's much more efficient to clear these items before photography takes place. The photographer appreciates this preparation as it streamlines the shooting process.
Please note that removing objects from photographs with patterned backgrounds or complex surfaces can be extremely challenging and time-consuming. If extensive item removal is requested after photography is completed, additional charges may apply. Pre-shoot preparation helps avoid these potential extra costs while ensuring the highest quality results.
What Happens if the Property is not photo ready?
Brad Scott Media is not responsible for cleaning or extensively preparing properties for photography. Minor decluttering may be done at a reasonable level, but properties should be photo-ready upon arrival.
If a property is deemed unsuitable for shooting upon arrival, a photo will be sent to the agent for confirmation on whether to proceed. If the shoot is cancelled on-site due to the property not being ready, a $100 callout fee will be billed to the agent.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
We don’t charge a cancellation fee. If extreme weather makes it unsuitable to complete the shoot, you’re welcome to reschedule at no cost.
However, if the photographer arrives at the property and is unable to proceed due to reasons outside of Brad Scott Media's control (excluding weather-related issues), a $100 callout fee will apply.
