Who is the Naked Zombie

In a 2010 interview with Penthouse Australia writing by Denise Mooney – Brad Scott is so tough ghosts don’t want to mess with him – Brad is quite different from the public perception he has obtained over the years, yes he speaks his mind and never backs down but, there is another side to this 6 foot 2 Aussie Larrikin. Brad’s experiences in the paranormal field go back to his childhood living in central Queensland where he was bought up in a haunted house, doors would swing open, the T.V and stereo would turn them selves on as well as all the taps in the house, not to forget the strange mist figures that would talk up and down the hallway late at night, but to a 5 year old this was a normal occurrence and only deepened the quest in latter years to what the paranormal held for him.

in his teenage years it was not uncommon for him to get a lift home with the local police force when they found him wandering around old buildings and cemeteries and the excuse every time was I heard a rumour, in which he had some explaining to do.In the years to follow Brad moved to New Zealand under a work contract where he by shear accident got involved in the film industry, while working at a engineering firm he was asked to go to the King Kong exhibition in Wellington where he meet Richard Taylor, having no idea who he was he started talking about Red Dwarf and SyFy T.V, in general and such is history the next day he found himself doing contract prop design and construction and got to meet some very talented people and from that New Zealand’s first Paranormal TV show was born, Paranormal New Zealand. Produced by Brad himself he spent the next 2 years travelling around NZ filming for Triangle TV and the Sky Network and formed NZ Paranormal, which seemed to bring the whole paranormal field into light within NZ, with many TV, Radio and paper interviews, Brad took it all in his stride and still showed up to work everyday tinkering with props for movies.

In 2009 Brad returned home to Australia with his family and decided to start Ghost Hunters Australia where Paranormal Mysteries was born a Internet based Tv series for Triptych Concepts and hated every minute of it…. after 6 episodes he decided enough was enough, it ‘s not what he wanted and would rather do his own thing and Naked Zombie Radio came to be.

Naked Zombie Radio is a podcast style radio show to do with Paranormal Pop Culture and to date has crashed the web server twice, downloaded in over 35 countries around the globe and has 60,000 to 80,000 hits per week, but this does not take away his love for being very much himself, armed with a very much Aussie down to earth style coupled with his twisted sense of humour Naked Zombie is an hour of humour, history and all things spooky.

Brad regularly knocks back trips overseas to do events and conventions, happy just to do his own thing and enjoy what Australia has to offer, there is much more to Brad’s story and I am sure in time him will talk about his adventures into the realm of the supernatural.

If you have any questions for brad he always has time to talk and can be contacted via the Website, Facebook or Email – brad@brad-scott.com P1020179

The Mummies of Guanajuato

The Mummies of Guanajuato are a number of naturally mummified bodies interred during a cholera outbreak around Guanajuato, Mexico in 1833. These mummies were discovered in a cemetery located in Guanajuato, which has made the city one of the biggest tourist attractions in Mexico. All of these mummies were disinterred between 1865 and 1958, when the law required relatives to pay a tax in order to keep the bodies in the cemetery. If the relatives could not pay this tax, they would lose the right to the burial place, and the dead bodies were disinterred. Ninety percent of the bodies in the cemetery were disinterred because their relatives did not pay the tax. However, only 2% of them were naturally mummified. The mummified bodies were stored in a building and in the 1900s the mummies began attracting tourists. Cemetery workers began charging people a few pesos to enter the building where bones and mummies were stored. This place was turned into a museum called El Museo De Las Momias, The Mummies’ Museum. A law prohibiting the disinterring of more mummies was passed in 1958, but this museum still exhibits the original mummies.
